Customer: Which cold medicine is better?

1.“over the counter”的意思是“（藥品等）無需處方即可以在藥店買到”，是副詞短語。例如：You can buy this medicine over the counter.（你買這個藥無需處方。）如想表達“非處方藥”，則要用“over-the-counter drugs”或“over-the-counter medication” 。“over-the-counter”為形容詞，可以用來修飾名詞。
“mix( sth.) with sth.”意思是“（把…）和…混合”。例如：Shake the bottle well so that the water mixes with the vinegar.（使勁搖瓶子，以便水和醋混合在一起。）Mix the soured cream with ketchup and tomatoes.（把發(fā)酵的奶油和番茄昔、番茄混合起來。）
“Not a problem.”意為“沒什么”，用以回答別人的感謝。
在美國買藥
在美國，藥店（drugstore）隨處可以看見，所以買藥很方便。美國的藥也分為處方藥（prescription drug)和非處方藥（over-the-counter drug，簡稱OTC）。
非處方藥是開放式貨架，可以自行選擇，包括內(nèi)服、外用。營養(yǎng)類藥物如鈣片、維生素、魚油等都很便宜，也可以買到隱形眼鏡藥水、專用膏藥等。
處方藥必須到專門柜臺辦理。如果參加了醫(yī)療保險，保險公司可以支付90%的藥費，買處方藥的時候，需要攜帶保險公司的醫(yī)療卡和處方去藥店的柜臺。柜臺專業(yè)人員會先看你的處方，然后詢問你是否還在卡上顯示的單位工作。之后，他們會確認一下你是否是第一次來，如果是，就會將你的身份證明、姓名、電話和住址錄入到電腦，然后收錢取藥。處方藥很貴，不過參保后你只需交10%就可以了，交錢后會自動產(chǎn)生一張不干膠貼，貼在所購買藥物的外包裝上，上面有詳細信息，包括剛才錄入的個人資料及付費價格等。單獨的收據(jù)上也有個人詳細信息，也包括藥品信息等，通過上面的信息可以看到藥品的原本價格。藥片裝存專門的不透明的小藥瓶里，可防曬，并且小藥瓶的外面也有詳細的產(chǎn)品名稱和服用劑量說明等。
