Wang Mei: Are you a visa officer?

Wang Mei: Yes. My uncle is living there. He would like to transfer ownership of his property to me. I'd be very grateful if

1.“legal formalities”指“法律手續(xù)”。
2.“once”在對話中是“一旦，一經…便…”的意思，相當于“as soon as”。例如: Once you talk to him. you will know he is a good person.（你只要和他一交談，就會知道他是個好人。）Once I get him a job，he will be happy.（一旦我給他找到了工作，他就會高興了。）
3.詞組“come through”可以表示“正式批準下來”。用英語可以解釋為: be made official especially by having the correct documents officially approved。例如: I'm still waiting for my divorce to come through （我還在等著我的離婚批下來。）另外，這 個詞組還可以表示“（消息、信息等）到達（某個地方）”。例如：We're still waiting for our exam results to come through.（我們仍然在等著考試成績發(fā)下來。）
護照及簽證
護照是證明其持有人作為一國公民的旅行證件。護照還要求別國給其持有人以安全通過權，并給予各種合法的幫助與保護。有時在獲準進入某些國家之前，還必須同時持有官方簽署的證明。一般來說，政府簽發(fā)的護照有三種：外交護照、公務護照和普通護照，其中普通護照又分為因公普通護照和因私普通護照。
許多國家不要求某些特定國家的公民持有護照，比如美國公民在進入加拿大、墨西哥等國家時就不需要持有護照。
簽證是目的地國家的政府官員在護照上簽署的證明，以表明該護照已被檢驗并得到批準，持有者可以進入該國家。
