61　分詞作補(bǔ)足語(yǔ)　Track59

 

（1）在感官動(dòng)詞（如find, hear, smell, observe, watch, notice）之后，我們可以用兩類分詞作賓語(yǔ)補(bǔ)足語(yǔ)。
a.I heard him criticized many times.　我聽(tīng)見(jiàn)他多次受批評(píng)。
b.We saw the sun rising from behind the trees.
c.You can see the vapor rising from the wet clothes when they are hung on the fire.
d.Customer: Your dog seems very fond of watching you cutting hair.
Barber: It isn't that. Sometimes I snip off a bit of a customer's ear.
顧客：你的狗似乎很喜歡看你給別人理發(fā)嘛。
理發(fā)師：不是這么回事，而是因?yàn)槲矣袝r(shí)會(huì)剪掉客人們的一點(diǎn)耳朵。
e.A teacher entered the classroom and noticed a girl student sitting near the door with her feet in the aisle and chewing gum. "Ethel," exclaimed the teacher, "take that gum out of your mouth and put your feet in.”
一位老師走進(jìn)教室后，發(fā)現(xiàn)有位女生坐在門邊，腳伸到過(guò)道里，嘴里還嚼著口香糖。這位老師就大聲喊道：“埃塞爾，把口香糖從嘴里吐出來(lái)，把腳放進(jìn)去！”
（2）在這些動(dòng)詞之后，我們也可以用不帶to的不定式作補(bǔ)足語(yǔ)。其中，用現(xiàn)在分詞與用不定式的區(qū)別是：用現(xiàn)在分詞，強(qiáng)調(diào)動(dòng)作在進(jìn)行；用不定式則表示一般的動(dòng)作或一個(gè)動(dòng)作自始至終的全過(guò)程。
a.When I glanced out of the window I saw Mary crossing the road.
b.I watched him step off the pavement, cross the road, and disappear into the post office.
我看見(jiàn)他走下人行道，穿過(guò)馬路，進(jìn)了郵局，再也不見(jiàn)了。
c.In the park you often see people do tai chi.
在公園里，你經(jīng)常能見(jiàn)到人們?cè)诖蛱珮O拳。
d.I saw him doing tai chi when I came in.
我進(jìn)來(lái)時(shí)，看見(jiàn)他正在打太極拳。
