50　物主代詞的形式和用法　Track42

（1）物主代詞其實就是人稱代詞的所有格形式，表示所有關系，分為形容詞性和名詞性。

形容詞性物主代詞：

my　your　his　her　its　our　your　their

名詞性物主代詞：

mine　yours　his　hers　its　ours　yours　theirs

（2）形容詞性物主代詞的用法

1）形容詞性物主代詞必須和名詞連用，對名詞起限定作用，不能單獨使用。

a. Your book is over there.

b. His sister is lovely.

c. My car has broken down.

2）若表示強調，我們可在形容詞性物主代詞后邊加上own。例如：

a. I wish I had my own house.（own作形容詞）

b. I wish I had a house of my own.（own作代詞）

（3）名詞性物主代詞的用法

1）與形容詞性物主代詞相反，名詞性物主代詞只能單獨使用，不能再與名詞連用。因為名詞性物主代詞相當于形容詞性物主代詞+名詞。我們用名詞性物主代詞主要是為了避免前面出現(xiàn)過的名詞再次被重復提到。

a. This is not my book. Mine (=My book) is in my bag.

不能說：Mine book*

b. This book is mine and yours is over there.

這本書是我的，你的在那兒。

c. When they found the child, to their great surprise and joy, they found he was alive and well. The mother had laid her body over his and given her life for her child, proving the depths of her mother love.?。ㄟ@里的his是名詞性物主代詞，相當于his body，為了避免body重復，采用了名詞性物主代詞）

當他們發(fā)現(xiàn)這個孩子時，讓他們驚喜的是，這孩子還安然無恙地活著。他母親用自己的身體擋在孩子身體的上方，為了兒子獻出了生命，足以證明母愛的偉大。

2）我們也可以用“of+名詞性物主代詞”這樣的結構。例如：

a friend of mine=one of my friends

a teacher of hers=one of her teachers

不說：of my/your/her*；可以說：of my/your/his/her own。
