This morning I will finish explaining the exercises in the 86th morning class. 我們來看第10題：一個人守在這兒真難熬。翻譯為：It is dreadful that only one person be here all alone with it.

【點(diǎn)評】

[陷阱提示] 大家千萬要謹(jǐn)慎主語從句中that only one person be here all alone with it中的謂語是be, 而不要沒事兒找事做—— 把be改為is而惹禍上身(考試挨扣分)。 用“be”是因?yàn)檫@個主語從句省略了should, 實(shí)際上完整的謂語是：should be，省略了should，就是be了。

[短語翻譯] be all alone with something 獨(dú)自地守著某物。 在這個短語中all是副詞，修飾alone，加強(qiáng)了alone的程度，從而加強(qiáng)了句子的語氣。All 在此句中是“very”的意思。For example: She is all exited. 她非常地激動。Don't get all upset about it now. 別再為那事兒那么難過了。

[短語拓展] be all alone with something 是獨(dú)自地守著某物的意思，那當(dāng)然我們可以說“獨(dú)自地守著某人”，短語即是：be all alone with somebody. For example: She just had one son and her only son had to be all alone with her when she was hospitalized all day and all night. 她就只生了一個小孩，因此她生病住院時，她唯一的兒子就不得不獨(dú)自一人天天整日整夜地守在她身旁。

[短語詳析] all alone with it 這個形容詞短語在這個主語從句中做狀語，表示的是主語的狀態(tài)。

After hours of walking, she arrived home safe.
