This morning I'd like to share a sentence pattern with you which is : S order that S should do. In this sentence, "order" means " to use your position of authority to tell somebody to do something or say that something mus happen". That S should do.
Let's look at some example sentences. The officer ordered they fire. They ordered for every tree cut down two more trees be planted.
Alright , except for "order" we have a word which is exactly similar to it. What's it? Let's look at the following sentence: He commanded that his men should retreat. Have you found it? It is : command which means"(of somebody in a position of authority) tell somebody to do something". So we should use subjunctive in an objective clause that follows it. For example: She commanded the prisoner be released.
