1. get off on the wrong foot 〔to a bad start〕 **扣錯第一顆紐扣;出師不利

解 習語;詞義溯源:[在惡劣環(huán)境下(on the wrong foot)] [off(向前)]走去;參照be off on the wrong foot, be off to a bad start

例 We got off on the wrong foot when Wu Jin kicked the ball into the visiting team's net in the second minute of the game. After that, the whole game was nothing but a series of mistakes.

2. Get off one's case 〔back, tail〕! *一個人待著!不要煩人!

解 俚語;詞義溯源:從某人的[問題(case)或后背(back)或尾巴(tail)][脫離(off)]而走;一般用于祈使句
