ii. 虛擬語(yǔ)氣在賓語(yǔ)從句中的用法

在表示一“堅(jiān)持”（insist），二“命令”（order, command），三“建議” （suggest, propose, advise），四“要求”（ask, require, request, demand）等動(dòng)詞的賓語(yǔ)從句中表示虛擬，其從句謂語(yǔ)用“（should）+動(dòng)詞原形”。

I asked that she (should) return my bike.

我要求她歸還我的自行車。

They demanded that their wages be raised .

他們要求漲工資。

注意：

1）that在這些從句中，通常不省略。

He insisted that he hadn't stolen the money and shouldn't be punished.

他堅(jiān)持沒有偷那錢，不應(yīng)該受到懲罰。

2）suggest作“暗示，表明”講時(shí)，insist作“堅(jiān)持認(rèn)為”講時(shí)，后面的賓語(yǔ)從句不用虛擬語(yǔ)氣。

Her pale face suggested that she was ill and her parents suggested that she have a medical examine.

她蒼白的臉色暗示她病了，她的父母建議她進(jìn)行一次醫(yī)療檢查。
