1. 一般來說，表示比較抽象的、經(jīng)常的行為，通常不與特定的動作執(zhí)行者聯(lián)系在一起，多用動名詞；而表示特定的具體的行為，特別是將來的行為，強調(diào)的是動作，往往與特定的動作執(zhí)行者聯(lián)系在一起，多用不定式。

Teaching is also learning.

教學也是學習。

To move away such a large stone isn't easy.

搬動這么大一塊石頭是不容易的。

Is it necessary to complet e the design before National Day?

很有必要國慶節(jié)前完成這個設計嗎？

2. It's no good （no use, no harm, a waste of ... ,worth while）句型后一般用動名詞作真正的主語。

It's no use crying over spilt milk.

為灑了的牛奶哭是沒用的。（覆水難收。）

It is a waste of time trying to persuade him to help others.

企圖說服他幫助別人是浪費時間。

5. there being的動名詞結(jié)構(gòu)可以直接位于句首作主語，there to be不定式結(jié)構(gòu)作主語時，通常用for作引導詞。

For there to be so few people in the street on Sunday was unusual.

周日街上人那么少很不尋常。

It was unusual for there to be no late comers.

沒有晚來的人很不正常。

There being a bus stop near our school will be a pleasant thing.
