Downing Street has announced that the British prime minister Boris Johnson will return to work on Monday, a little more than two weeks after being discharged from hospital, where he'd been treated in intensive care for coronavirus. He's been recuperating at his official country retreat, where he's spoken with Queen Elizabeth, cabinet ministers and president Trump.

The number of people killed by the coronavirus worldwide has passed 200.000. The figure was compiled by Johns Hopkins University in the United States. 2.8 million cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed, but the real numbers are thought to be much higher.
