The young, the lovely, pass away,
美麗倏然凋零，
Ne'er to be seen again;
不曾再度相遇，
Earth's fairest flowers too soon decay,
花落人亡永相隔，
Its blasted trees remain.
徒留空枝牽掛。
Full oft, we see the brightest thing
年輕奔放生命，
That lifts its head on high,
妖嬈春的靚麗，
Smile in the light, then droop its wing,
回眸笑音容猶在，
And fade away and die.
風起繁華落盡。
And kindly is the lesson given;
不堪斯人遠離，
Then dry the falling tear:
蓄淚空垂為誰？
They came to raise our hearts to Heaven;
扶搖直上天國里，
They go to call us there.
喚我御風同去。
