When you love someone, you might have to make compromises.

當(dāng)你深愛一個人，你可能不得不妥協(xié)。

You might have to rearrange your priorities.

你可能要重設(shè)你的輕重緩急。

You might have to rethink the way you want your future to look.

你可能不得不重新考慮你希望你未來的樣子。

But loving someone doesn't mean you give up everything for them.

但愛一個人，不代表你要為他們放棄你的所有。

You should not have to sacrifice your dreams in order to keep your relationship strong.

你不應(yīng)該為了維系你們之間的關(guān)系而犧牲自己的夢想。

The right person for you should support your career goals.

如果Ta是那個對的人，Ta會支持你的事業(yè)。

They should be your biggest supporter.

Ta會是那個最支持你的人。

They should be standing behind you, ready to catch you when you fall and shove you back onto your feet.

Ta會站在你身后，在你跌倒時抓住你，支撐你。

They should inspire you to keep trying when you are debating whether you are wasting your time.

當(dāng)你猶猶豫豫，不知是否只是浪費時間時，Ta應(yīng)該為你鼓勁。

They should make you feel like you are capable of anything.

Ta應(yīng)該鼓勵你可以勝任一切事情。

Loving someone does not mean you have to stop loving the parts of life that don't involve them.

愛一個人，并不意味著你必須摒除那些Ta不感興趣的愛好。

You are allowed to have hobbies. You are allowed to have passions. You are allowed to have friends.

你可以有自己的興趣愛好，你可以擁有激情，你可以交朋友。

Your person shouldn't push you away from your social circle.

你愛的Ta不應(yīng)該讓你遠離你的社交圈。

There should still be times when you get drinks with your friends from college.

你仍然可以和大學(xué)的朋友們出去喝點東西。

There should still be occasions when you grab brunch with your mother one-on-one.

你仍然可以和你的媽媽出去吃個早午餐。

You should still live your own life.

你仍然擁有你自己的生活空間。

Loving someone does not mean you make them the center of your universe.

愛一個人，并不意味著Ta就是你宇宙的中心。

Even though you should look forward to spending time with them

盡管你期待與他們共度時光，

that does not mean you have to spend every second of your time with them.

但這也不意味著你的每一分每一秒都得和Ta膩在一起。

You do not have to invite them to every place you go.

你不需要邀請Ta去你要去的每一個地方。

You are allowed to separate.

你們可以分開一下。

You are allowed to wander away from each other as long as you are still respecting each other while you're gone.

只要你們尊重彼此，你們不非得膩在一起永不分開。

It's healthy to have space. It's better to live your own lives, to be your own people,

擁有自己的空間才是健康的關(guān)系。過自己的生活，做更好的自己，

than to accidentally get so tangled up with each other that you are unable to function when you are apart.

遠比膩在一起相互糾纏要好的多。

The right person for you will want you to have your own life.

那個對的Ta會希望你擁有自己的生活。

They will want you to be happy, even when they are out of your eyesight.

會希望你過的開心，即使你在Ta的視線之外。

They will find your independence attractive.

Ta會發(fā)掘你的理性獨立。

They will be relieved that they don't have to hold your hand in order for you to make it through the day okay.

Ta也會覺得輕松，因為Ta不必時時握著你的手給予你動力。

You don't have to give up everything you love for your relationship,

你不必為了一段關(guān)系而放棄你熱愛的一切，

because there is enough room in your world for your forever person and for your friends and for your career.

因為在你的世界里，你愛的人，你的朋友，和你的事業(yè)，空間都是足夠的。

You can have it all. You don't have to choose one over the other.

你不必只選擇其中一個，因為你可以擁有一切。
