Today we're back in the mountains,and we're gonna set off our own full-scale avalanche to see its deadly effects. 今天 我們回到這片山區(qū) 準(zhǔn)備制造一次真實(shí)的人造雪崩 親眼目睹一番致命的后果

If all goes to plan,the whole mountainside will come crashing down. 如果一切依計(jì)而行 整個(gè)雪坡將排山倒海直沖下來

To trigger the avalanche,the team will drop four 28-pound charges from a helicopter. 為引發(fā)雪崩 我們將從直升機(jī)上拋下四枚二十八磅的炸彈

Hello, Dave. This is Danny, over.We're already heading up the mountain. 你好戴夫 我是丹尼 完畢 我們正出發(fā)前往雪山

And we're hoping for a big one,but it's way too dangerous for any human. 我們本來想搞點(diǎn)大動(dòng)作 但是這對(duì)血肉之軀太危險(xiǎn)了

Instead, we'll place a life-sized replica skier in the avalanche fall line. 取而代之的是 把擬真滑雪者放在 雪崩行進(jìn)的范圍內(nèi)

It's fitted with a transceiver which is used by backcountry skiers. 其上安裝了無線收發(fā)器 是野外滑雪者常用的裝備

It sends out a signal which rescuers can track,even if it's buried deep. 即使深埋地底 它發(fā)射的信號(hào) 也能讓救援者循蹤而至

Once the avalanche is triggered,we'll send in the search-and-rescue guys,see how long it actually takes them to reach the dummy. 雪崩一旦發(fā)生 我們會(huì)派出搜尋救援隊(duì) 看究竟要久才能找到假人

And then the team are gonna bury me in the snow and see if I would have lasted long enough for them to reach me and make it out alive. 而后 工作隊(duì)會(huì)將我埋進(jìn)雪中 看我是否能支持到他們找到我 并成功的死里逃生

Once the danger zone is cleared,we call in the helicopter. 一旦此地危險(xiǎn)解除 我們招來直升機(jī)

Hovering 20 feet above the summit,they're taking their positions. 直升機(jī)在山頂上方六米處盤旋 他們已各就各位
