If I can get that, that'll be so useful. 如果我能弄到它 那肯定很有用

Hang on. This is gonna be a nightmare to get down. 等等 從這下去簡(jiǎn)直是個(gè)噩夢(mèng)

On this loose, steep rock, it's too risky to free-climb. 徒手攀登這種松散的峭壁太過危險(xiǎn)

The old netting I found on the beach could be the answer. 我在沙灘上撿到的舊漁網(wǎng)終于派上用場(chǎng)

Ah, it's gonna be perfect.I want to get this done quickly.I don't know how long that...rope's gonna stay. 真是太完美了 我要趕緊下去 不知道那條繩纜會(huì)不會(huì)被沖走

It's getting washed out in the surf. I need to move. 眼看就要被沖走了 必須馬上行動(dòng)

And what I'm gonna do here is put a clove hitch,around itself,over the top,and under. 我要打個(gè)雙套結(jié) 繞一圈 從上方再繞一圈 然后穿過去

Again, it's all so loose.Okay, time to put the weight on it.Well, this is holding quite nicely. 石壁的質(zhì)地非常疏松 好了 是時(shí)候看看它能否承受得住了 好極了 它完全可以承受我的體重

I'm at the limit of this now.The only problem is is when I'm gonna get back up,once I let this go. 漁網(wǎng)最多拉到這么長(zhǎng)了 唯一的問題就是一旦我放開手 我要怎么上去

The netting has got me most of the way down.Let's give it a go. 漁網(wǎng)也就能讓我下到這個(gè)地方了 放手一搏吧

Getting back up is gonna be much harder.Look at the size of this. 順著原路爬回去絕對(duì)是難上加難 快看它有多粗啊

A serious oil tanker or something that would use it,but one thick strand probably means about 500 little strands. 大型油輪之類的船舶才用的上它 如此粗大的繩索 大約由500條細(xì)繩編制而成

But it weighs a ton.There's no way I'm gonna drag this back up there. 可它太重了 拖著這個(gè)根本不可能爬上去
