The river is where nature's cut a path through the jungle and it can often be the quickest route. 河流是大自然在叢林中開(kāi)辟的小路 大多數(shù)情況下 就會(huì)是捷徑

I try to really use these rocks,just to move steady down this. 我要盡可能利用這些巖石 穩(wěn)步向前

You don't want to end up getting taken. 你不想被沖走吧

But there's a huge amount of power in this. 但是有一股強(qiáng)勁的力量

If you go with the flow of the water,you can cover ground surprisingly fast. 如果順著水流走 速度會(huì)出奇的快

Well, that's working.And I'm actually making quite good progress downriver now. 真奏效啊 我在向下游走 進(jìn)展很順利

But you can never afford to be complacent.Rivers have a habit of catching you out. 但不要自滿(mǎn) 河水無(wú)情

That's a drop you do not want to go over.Can you see down that? 你肯定不想跳下去 你能看到那下面嗎

Just get battered a bit all the way down to the bottom. 跳下去 那就可能一去不復(fù)返了

See, this is really why the jungle's such a tough terrain to survive in. 明白了吧 這就是 叢林之中難以生存的原因

Just obstacle after obstacle awaits. 困難一個(gè)接一個(gè)

Can you imagine not only trying to survive here,but then also fighting, as well? 你能想象不但要在這求生 還得在這打戰(zhàn)有多艱難嗎

It's really why so many young Americans had such an epic. 這解釋了為什么大批美國(guó)年輕人 在這里寫(xiě)下可歌可泣的戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)史
