The water comes out of the faucet spout, "spout," that's the part of the faucet where the water actually comes out of. 水從水龍頭噴嘴(spout)流出，它是水龍頭的組成部分，是水真正流出之地。

I step into the shower, I turn on "the hot and cold water, looking for the perfect temperature," not too hot, not too cold. 我走進(jìn)浴室，打開(kāi)“冷水和熱水水龍頭，為的是能找到最合適的水溫，”不太熱，也不太冷。

"I lather up with soap." “接著在身上抹肥皂。”

To lather, "lather," or to lather up, means to take soap and put it on your skin and then put water on it, “抹肥皂(lather)”，的意思是拿著肥皂，把它涂在皮膚上，接著蘸上水，

and you rub the soap and the water together until you make little bubbles — until the soap and water covers your skin. 然后你用手揉擦肥皂和水直到身上出現(xiàn)了小泡沫——直到肥皂和水覆蓋了你的皮膚。

That is to lather or to lather up. 那就是在抹肥皂。

Well, "I lather up with" some "soap," and then I "put some shampoo in my hair." 好了，“我在身上抹”一些“肥皂，”然后我“在頭上倒一些洗發(fā)水。”

Shampoo, "shampoo," is the soap for your head — for your hair, if you have hair. 洗發(fā)水(shampoo)，是用來(lái)洗頭——洗頭發(fā)，要是你有的話(huà)，的肥皂。

So, you take this special soap, usually it is a liquid soap, and you put it on your hair and that is called shampoo. 所以，你拿上這種專(zhuān)門(mén)的肥皂，它一般是液體的，然后在頭上倒一些，那個(gè)就叫洗發(fā)水。
