美國文化脫口秀 第570期:人設(shè)崩塌 和其它新詞熱詞英語怎么說?

#1.Youthquake

什么意思：

Youthquake： 青年地震、青年震蕩

"Youth" + "earthquake": 青年+地震

牛津詞典解釋：

A significant cultural, political, or social change arising from the actions or influence of young people. 年輕人的行動(dòng)及影響力帶來重要的文化、政治、社會(huì)變革。

The word was coined in the 1960s by then-Vogue editor, Diana Vreeland, to describe upheavals in fashion and music caused by Britain's youth culture. 這個(gè)詞最早是上世紀(jì)60年代由當(dāng)時(shí)的Vogue雜志編輯Diana Vreeland，用來描述英國青年文化在時(shí)尚和音樂界帶來的巨變。

Its use increased significantly in 2017. 雖然不算是個(gè)新詞，但是2017年它又“紅”了，使用廣泛。

#2.Genderquake

什么意思：

Genderquake: 性別震蕩;

Disregard for gender norms: 忽略性別

這個(gè)詞的出現(xiàn)是由于在北美目前性別自由概念很“政治正確”：

Gender fluidity: 性別流動(dòng)

#3.Broflake

什么意思：

Broflake: 保守玻璃心男

A man who is readily upset or offended by progressive attitudes that conflict with his more conventional or conservative views. 一個(gè)非常容易因?yàn)橐恍┬碌倪M(jìn)步觀點(diǎn)與他的傳統(tǒng)觀點(diǎn)不相符而生氣、被冒犯的男人。

這個(gè)詞和以前的一個(gè)熱詞有關(guān):

#4.Newsjacking

什么意思：

Newsjacking: 劫持新聞、熱點(diǎn)事件營銷

The process of injecting your brand into the day's news, creating a twist that grabs eyes when they're open widest. 把你的品牌插入新聞，創(chuàng)造一個(gè)抓人眼球的點(diǎn)，讓他們更有傳播性。

衍生詞：

Twitterstorm: Twitter風(fēng)暴，Twitter刷屏。和微博一樣，Twitter是國外營銷最需要占領(lǐng)的高地。

什么意思：

這個(gè)詞源于另一個(gè)詞：

Photogenic：上照

如果你是slefiegenic，你不一定要真的很好看，只要自拍看上去夠漂亮就行啦

#6.Normie

什么意思：

Normie：someone who is ordinary looking 路人臉

詞源應(yīng)該是Normal，所以就是長得很普通

#7.Gorpcore

什么意思：

Gorpcore：an acronym of the ‘Good Old Raisins and Peanuts’ mix used by hikers.是"Good Old Raisins and Peanuts(好吃的葡萄干和花生)"的縮寫，是背包客常用的縮略語。

Dressing like you spend a load of your time outdoors or camping, e.g. fleece jackets, windbreakers, fanny packs and hiking boots. 這是一種著裝風(fēng)格，穿得好像是在戶外運(yùn)動(dòng)、露營。比如，沖鋒衣,防風(fēng)衣，腰包，登山鞋。

這個(gè)詞也是從以前的個(gè)熱詞而來

#8.Milkshake Duck

什么意思：

Milkshake Duck: 人設(shè)崩塌

A person or character on social media that appears to be endearing at first, but is found to have an unappealing back story. 一個(gè)人或者人設(shè)在社交媒體上很可愛，但是后來被扒皮了。
