中國的國慶節(jié)是十月一號(hào)，美國的國慶節(jié)是七月四號(hào)，也被稱為獨(dú)立日。和我們七天長(zhǎng)假不同，美國人一般國慶節(jié)只有當(dāng)天放假。

It's because when the country was founded,13 states went on board: 因?yàn)槊绹鴦偨▏鴷r(shí)有13個(gè)殖民地

The 50 stars on the flag represent the 50 states: 星條旗上50顆星，代表美國的50個(gè)州

Obviously, there weren't 50 states at first, so over the years, more and more stars have been added to the flag: 當(dāng)然，一開始并沒有50個(gè)州，建國后國旗上的星星才一顆一顆多起來
