最近很多聽眾讓我們說說特朗普、為什么那么多美國人支持他?今天，我們就帶來美國老百姓的訪談，解釋自己為何支持他。

He has run many different businesses, some successful, others have gone under: 自己做過很多生意，有些成功、也有很多失敗

To go under: 破產(chǎn)、倒閉

To file for bankruptcy: 申請(qǐng)破產(chǎn)

真人秀明星，會(huì)吹牛

Loud mouth: 大嘴巴、會(huì)吹牛

He's full of it/full of sh*t: 說的都是沒道理的話

He has made a lot of anti-immigrant, anti-China comments: 特朗普發(fā)表了很多反移民、反華的言論

誰支持特朗普?

Many Trump supporters are rednecks:很多特朗普的支持者是土包子、下巴老

Hillbilly: 土包子

Conservative: 保守的

Close-minded:思想閉塞的

我為什么支持特朗普?

He speaks the truth when he talks about immigration, border control. He doesn't care what people think: 他說的都是實(shí)話，他談到移民、邊境控管，他不在乎別人怎么看

He's unchoreographed: 他不裝、不是精心設(shè)計(jì)的

I like his roughness and little Reaganesque: 我喜歡他的粗曠、有里根的氣質(zhì)

He's not a politician: 他不是政客

He's not gonna be bought off: 他不會(huì)被人收買(因?yàn)樗呀?jīng)很有錢了)

美國老百姓很傻很單純?

他最了解名間疾苦

He may be a billionaire, but he's like one of us: 他雖然是億萬富翁，但他就像我們老百姓一樣

Besides the money issue, he's still in tune with what everybody is wanting: 除了他很有錢，他跟我們老百姓想的都是合拍的

When he referred to some immigrants as rapists, did that bother you or did you ever notice it?

他說一些移民是強(qiáng)奸犯的時(shí)候，你們覺得有問題嗎?還是根本沒注意?

No, it didn't bother me：沒有，我不覺得這有什么問題

他那么會(huì)做生意，一定也會(huì)管理國家

He said he's gonna put a wall down on the Southern border, that's the common sense thing to do: 他說會(huì)在我們南方的邊境造一座墻，我覺得理應(yīng)這樣做，這是常識(shí)

I knew he was a wealthy successful man. I remember asking my mother if I could write him a letter and ask him how he made his money so that I could do it too: 我很早就知道他是個(gè)有錢、成功的人。我記得那時(shí)候問我媽，我能給他寫封信，問他怎么賺錢嗎?這樣我也能賺錢

Even as a young kid, the word "Trump" meant success to me: 當(dāng)我還是個(gè)孩子時(shí)，Trump對(duì)我來說就代表成功

He's a billionaire. How can I begrudge him on that? He worked hard to get there: 他是個(gè)億萬富翁，但我為什么要嫉恨他?他是通過自己的努力成功的

美國也有很多人討厭特朗普

Voters: 選民

They vote in the election: 在大選時(shí)投票

Many Trump supporters look up to him and his success: 很多特朗普支持者很敬佩他的成功

But many say Trump isn't as successful as he claims:當(dāng)然也有很多人覺得他根本沒自己吹的那么成功

He brags and exaggerates: 他都是吹牛、夸大的

BS'ing (bull shitting): 吹牛、信口開河

I think some of Trump's supporters reasons are pathetic: 我覺得特朗普支持者說的理由都很可悲

I don't even think Trump believes in the crap he says 我根本不覺得特朗普相信他自己說的話

He's just saying it to get the constituency:他這樣說就是為了得到這派選民的支持

To rally behind someone: 支持某人

白人民粹

I think Trump is very manipulative: 我覺得特朗普很會(huì)操縱人

Trump has tapped into many people's anger: 他利用了很多老百姓的怨氣

Especially the blue-collar, lower middle class people who lost their jobs to globalization and immigration: 特別是底層藍(lán)領(lǐng)，他們很多人因?yàn)槿蚧?、移民涌入美國而失業(yè)

They blame China and Mexicans for their condition: 他們把自己的境況都怪在中國、墨西哥人身上

Looking for a scapegoat:找替罪羔羊

Trump stands for White populism: 特朗普就是在玩白人民粹政治

White power: 白人勢(shì)力

Racist:種族歧視的

Intolerant: 排外的

Fascist: 法西斯主義者

The Republican Party has pushed many of its supporters to the far right of politics of White populism: 共和黨近幾年也在把支持者推到越來越右翼的白人民粹路線

They created their own monster in Donald Trump: 他們自己制造出了特朗普這個(gè)怪物

They made their own bed: 他們自食其果
