但是飯店很討厭這種買單方法

Separate checks add a lot of extra work for the restaurants. Many don't allow it or charge an extra fee: 各付各的(分開付賬)對飯店來說很麻煩，所以很多飯店不提供這個服務，或者會額外收取一些費用。當然自己先算好，統(tǒng)一結(jié)賬是沒問題的;

To treat someone: 請別人客

中國人比美國人大方嗎?

美國人基本很少請客，通常都split the bill

People don't expect one person to pay in general: 基本上，美國人不期待被請客

Even if you are the one initiating a get-together, it's common for the group to split the bill: 就算是你發(fā)起的飯局，大家也都會分攤

They won't think you are cheap: 沒人會覺得你小氣

美國人約會誰買單?

Men are not expected to pay for women: 美國男人和女人出去，男人不需要請客 (如果只是朋友)

If it's a date, the man will usually pay for the first couple of dates: 如果是約會，那男的前幾次會付，但基本不超過五次
