There is a little maiden.

她是個(gè)小女孩。

Who is she? Do you know?

Who always has a welcome wherever she may go.

她走到哪里都會(huì)受到歡迎。

Her face is like the Maytime.

她的臉就像是五月的時(shí)光。

Her voice is like a bird's,

她的聲音就像是鳥(niǎo)的歌唱，

The sweetest of all music is in her lightsome words.

她輕快的話語(yǔ)是世界上最動(dòng)聽(tīng)的音樂(lè)。

Each spot she makes the brighter,

她照亮了一切，

As if she were the sun;

她就像是太陽(yáng)，

And she is sought, and cherished and loved by every one.

By old folks and by children, by lofty and by low;

Who is this little maiden?

Does any body know ?

You surely must have met her.
