Here, Lucy talks about three people getting on board, or coming onto and sitting in the bus. 這里，露西說(shuō)有三個(gè)人上車(chē)，或者說(shuō)上了公共汽車(chē)坐了下來(lái)。

After "three more people get on board," or get on the bus, "the driver starts on the route." “三個(gè)人上車(chē)”之后，“司機(jī)發(fā)動(dòng)汽車(chē)上路了”。

The route, "route," sometimes called the route (pronounced "root"), both pronunciations are possible, is the path or the direction that the bus goes. 路線(xiàn)(route)，有時(shí)發(fā)音是/ru:t/(與root同音)，兩種發(fā)音都可以，是指公共汽車(chē)經(jīng)過(guò)的軌跡或者方向。

It goes down Main Street, then goes on First Street, then goes down Central Avenue, then takes a left on Seventh Street, and comes back on Waterview Drive. 它沿著主街走，然后走到第一大街，然后走到中央大道，然后在第七街向左拐，然后回到水景大道。

In general, a route is a list of the streets or freeways or roads that you take to get somewhere. 一般來(lái)說(shuō)，路線(xiàn)就是你要去某個(gè)地方要走的街道、高速公路或公路。
