☆Our restaurant is noted for Hunan food. 我們餐館以湘菜著稱。

☆Sichuan is famous for fish seasoning and chicken cubes with chili peppers. 川菜有魚(yú)香肉絲和辣子雞丁。

☆This is my first time to a Chinese restaurant. Could you tell me the different features of Chinese food? 這是我第一次來(lái)中國(guó)餐館。你能告訴我中國(guó)食物的不同特點(diǎn)嗎?

☆Generally speaking, Cantonese food is a bit light; Shanghai food is rather sweet; and Hunan food are very spicy. They're very good in color, flavor and taste.

一般來(lái)講,粵菜比較清淡;上海菜很甜;湘菜味道辣。中國(guó)菜準(zhǔn)備得十分精細(xì)、美味,色、香、味俱全。

☆I(lǐng)t's the most delicious dinner I've had for a long time. 這是我這么長(zhǎng)時(shí)間以來(lái)吃過(guò)的最好吃的飯。

☆We're here at a restaurant famous for its Chinese food. 我們來(lái)的這家餐館是以是中國(guó)菜出名的。

☆A(yù)t a restaurant that serves Cantonese food, we usually start off with soup. 在供應(yīng)粵菜的餐館里,我們吃飯通常從喝湯開(kāi)始。

☆A(yù)ccording to the menu, there is rice, rolls and dumplings. Which do you prefer? 根據(jù)菜單介紹,這里供應(yīng)米飯、花卷和餃子。您喜歡吃哪一種?

☆Sichuan food is noted for its hot flavors. 川菜以辣味而聞名。

A:Are you ready to order now?

B:We'd like to try some Chinese food today. Could you give us any advice about it?

A:With pleasure. Chinese food is varied. We serve Cantonese cuisine and Sichuan cuisine.

B:What's the difference between them?

A:Oh, Cantonese food is usually a kind of seafood. Sichuan food is a sort of food with some seasonings. And it tastes a bit more flavorful than Cantonese food.

B:Then I think Cantonese food sounds nice to us.

A:All right, would you like to look over the menu first? You can find the list of Cantonese dishes on the left and decide on your favorite dishes. I'll be back in a minute and take your order.

B:Thanks a lot. You're so considerate.

A:先生,您現(xiàn)在點(diǎn)菜嗎?

B:我們今天想品嘗一下中國(guó)的菜肴。您可以給我們一些建議嗎?

A:很樂(lè)意。中餐品種繁多,我們餐廳主要烹調(diào)粵菜及川菜。

B:How many kinds of Chinese cuisine do you have?

A:We serve Shanghai food, Sichuan food and Cantonese food.

B:I know they are quite different, but I can't remember how exactly they are different. Could you tell me?

A:Shanghai food is oily and sweet, Sichuan food is strong and hot, and Cantonese food is light and fresh.

A:先生,這是菜單。您想吃西餐還是中餐呢?

B:我想吃頓地道的中餐。

B:You can turn to page 12 for information about Shanghai food. To make our western customers understand more, the menu gives a brief description of each dish.

A:It's so thoughtful of you. I'm afraid it'll be some time before I make my decision.

B:It doesn't matter. Just take your time.

A:I can order now. A shrimp cocktail and some fried peanuts as an appetizer first, and then a plate of Shanghai crab, a grilled fish, a roast spring chicken and a cauliflower soup.

B:What would you like to drink?

A:A bottle of Budweiser. please.

B:Would you like some fruit?

A:Some grapes please.

B:Very well, I'll serve the dishes right away.

B:You're welcome.

A:粵菜和川菜我都已經(jīng)吃過(guò)了。這次我想品嘗一下上海菜。
