597　scream，shriek，shout，yell和roar

① scream和shriek都是指發(fā)出尖銳的聲音或調(diào)子。

The little girl screamed with delight when she saw the birthday cake. 看到生日蛋糕時(shí)，小女孩高興得尖叫起來。

She screamed that there was a snake under the table. 她大聲尖叫說桌子下面有蛇。

She shrieked in fear thinking someone was chasing her. 她害怕得尖叫起來，以為有人在追她。

② shout指大聲地喊叫，以便聲音傳向遠(yuǎn)處或高于其他聲音。

I shouted good-bye to my friend as the train pulled out of the station. 火車駛出車站時(shí)，我大聲地向朋友喊再見。

③ yell指大聲地叫喊，一般用于與人有關(guān)的聲音，通常是不受控制的感情的流露。
