577　regret用法難點

① regret用作動詞時，為及物動詞，意為“感到懊悔，遺憾”，結構為：

regret sth.

regret doing sth./having done sth.

regret+that從句

He regretted the choice he had made. 他為自己的選擇而懊悔。

She regretted selling the house. 她后悔賣了房子。

I regret that I shall not be able to come. 很遺憾，我不能來。

② regret還常用于下列句型中：
