① cannot原先只用于英式英語中，美式英語則分開寫成can not，現(xiàn)在cannot則通用了。

You cannot leave now. It's raining hard outside. 你現(xiàn)在不能離開，外面正下大雨。

② can't為省略式，一般只用于口語中。

You can finish the work tomorrow，can't you？你明天能完成這項(xiàng)工作，對(duì)嗎？

I can't go with you，Mary. 瑪麗，我不能同你一起去。

③ can not分開寫可以表示強(qiáng)調(diào)。

It is not a parking lot. You certainly can not park here. 這不是停車場，你絕不能在這里停車。
