“打開車窗”不是"open the window"！我真的懵了！

搖下車窗

如果是打開家里的窗戶，open the window這個(gè)說法絕對(duì)沒問題，但打開車窗不能這么翻譯。

因?yàn)樵溶嚧岸际切枰覀兪謩?dòng)搖下來，車上有相應(yīng)的按鈕或把手，不像家里門窗可以直接用手拉開，而是上下移動(dòng)開合。所以開關(guān)車窗不應(yīng)該說open和close，而要用roll。

roll sth up (轉(zhuǎn)動(dòng)把手)關(guān)閉

roll up the window 搖上車窗;關(guān)上車窗

roll sth down 搖開;旋開

roll down the window (轉(zhuǎn)動(dòng)把手)搖下車窗;打開車窗

“透透氣”用英語怎么說?

開窗是為了透氣，促進(jìn)空氣流通，我想出去透氣是I want to breathe fresh air嗎?這樣翻譯就太啰嗦了。

其實(shí)，透氣的英文表達(dá)非常簡單，常用的有下面幾種。

need some air/get some air 透透氣

想去透氣直接用need some air和get some air就可以了，這也是最常見的表達(dá)。

breathable [?bri?ð?bl] 透氣的

多形容可以透氣的衣服布料。

ventilate [?vent?le?t] 通風(fēng);通氣

表示讓房間等建筑物通風(fēng)，well-ventilated room就是通風(fēng)良好的房間。

let in some air 透透氣
