老外對(duì)你說(shuō) I'm in the family way 是什么意思?

NO.1
I'm in the family way.

”在路上“介詞應(yīng)該用on,on the way才對(duì),

并且on the way除了表示在路上,

口語(yǔ)里”to have one on the way“也有

Did you hear the good news? Anna is in the family way!

NO.2
Do you have a family?

Do you have a family?

Do you have a family?

For native speakers the family has always been the extended family. That probably came because they had lots of contact many of my relations when I was very young.

They wouldn't ask "Do you have a family?" if I were referring to parents or other extended family, unless I were a foster child or something.

如果真的想問(wèn)對(duì)方的父母或親戚時(shí),是不會(huì)用“Do you have a family?”

"Do you have parents nearby?"

"Do you have brothers and sisters?"

"Do you have a family?" Do you have a spouse/partner and children?"(你有伴侶或者孩子嗎?

Yes,I'm married.

嗯,我結(jié)婚了;

No, I'm single.
