I entered Vietnam in February last year, with the idea of ??staying for a couple of weeks and researching local dishes for my website TasteAtlas which deals with cataloging traditional dishes and local food products.

去年2月，我來(lái)到越南，想在那里呆上幾個(gè)星期，為我的網(wǎng)站“品味圖譜”研究一下當(dāng)?shù)氐牟穗?，該網(wǎng)站主要負(fù)責(zé)分類(lèi)傳統(tǒng)菜肴和當(dāng)?shù)厥称贰?/p>

Due to the pandemic, the stay was extended from a couple of weeks to 17 months - but it was worth every day.

由于疫情，在那兒的時(shí)間從幾周延長(zhǎng)到17個(gè)月，但每一天都是值得的。

I went through almost all parts of beautiful Vietnam - about fifty cities and towns, got to know the country, food, people, and customs, and recorded it with photos.

我?guī)缀踝弑榱嗣利惖脑侥系乃械胤?mdash;—大約50個(gè)城市和城鎮(zhèn)，了解了這個(gè)國(guó)家、食物、人民和習(xí)俗，并用照片記錄下來(lái)。

Although I came to explore food and enjoy nature, if I were to describe Vietnam in one sentence, it would concern neither food nor nature. Vietnam is first and foremost a country of extremely kind people.

雖然我來(lái)這里是為了探索食物和享受自然，但如果我用一句話來(lái)描述越南，它既不涉及食物，也不涉及自然。越南首先是一個(gè)人民非常善良的國(guó)家。
