“副駕駛”英文怎么說？難道是 vice driver？

而且這個(gè)說法有點(diǎn)奇怪:

明明坐在副駕駛的人就是乘客,

除了有時(shí)候指指點(diǎn)點(diǎn)影響駕駛員心情以外,

似乎跟駕駛沒關(guān)系,

為何要稱為"副駕駛"?

副駕駛和其它位置還可以叫作

"副駕駛"在英文中還有一個(gè)表達(dá):

shotgun /???t?g?n/

本意: 獵槍; 霰(xiàn)彈槍

口語中經(jīng)常指“副駕駛”

源自十九世紀(jì)美國(guó)西部扛槍打仗的年代，因?yàn)橐曇昂帽阌谟^察敵情，所以拿槍的都坐司機(jī)旁邊的座位。逐漸地shotgun就演化成副駕駛的意思。

Notice that we have the apostrophe S, but you can’t really hear it because the next word begins with an S. The two S’s blend together into one sound to link the words.

We have a couple of interesting ways that we use this term in English. A backseat driver is one who gives too much input on driving when they’re not driving. It can also mean a less importance, and we often use it in the negative. I won’t take a backseat to him. That means, I won’t let him or his ideas be more important or prominent than mine.
