“你說得對!”不用“You are right.” 那地道說法是什么?

有一個在美的留學生，

在考國際駕照時因為過于緊張，

地上標線是向左轉，

但他不放心地問考官：“turn left?”

監(jiān)考官回答：“right!”

?于是他考試……

掛了……

你看懂這個笑話的內涵了嗎?

其實歪果仁也不是都用right來表示“你說得對”的，

什么情況可以用you are right呢?

就比方說

別人問你“你是英語專業(yè)的學生嗎?”

恰好，你是

你就可以回答他說：

You're quite right.

類似的，也可以說：

1Yes, that's right.2Yes, that's correct.3That's spot on. (spot on意思是“準確的，一點也不差”)4You're dead right (there).5Absolutely.5You could say so.

除了上面那個場景，

我們也會遇到別的時候要表達“你說得對”

但you are right可能就不是最適合的那句話了

不同的場景我們會用不同的表達來說“你說得對”

01 Tell me about it!

當某人在陳述一件事情或者一種感受，而你也有相同的感受或者體驗時，你就可以接他的話說Tell me about it!，表示“可不是嘛，的確這樣，就是啊，你說得對!”

例：

-I get so annoyed with Steve!

史蒂夫把我煩透了!

-Tell me about it! He drives me crazy.

你算說對了，他快把我逼瘋了!

02 You're telling me.

用在當別人和你說一件你很肯定的事情的時候，你就可以表示認同，和自己想的一樣。

You're telling me. 在這里意思是:“當然，這還用說”。

例：

-This is so boring.

真沒意思。

-You’re telling me.

說得是。

03 You can say that again.

You can say that again.這句話語氣強烈，但并不是真的讓對方再說一遍，而是表示”相當同意“。我要說的跟你說的一樣，你可以再說一遍就當是我說的。

例：

The weather's been bad.

天氣一直很差。

-You can say that again!

說得是啊!

04 I'll say.

I'll say.表示不僅你說得對，我還有更多的證據和話要說可以支持你的觀點。

used to show that you agree very strongly with what has been said

當然!的確如此!

例：

-Does he eat a lot?

他吃得很多嗎?

-I'll say!
