Lay常用來表示把某物放到特定的位置或地方;或是表示雌性的鳥產(chǎn)卵(下蛋)。(過去式是laid，過去分詞也是laid)
 

Linda laid her baby down gently on the bed.

Linda把她的寶寶輕輕地放到了床上。

v. 躺;說謊
 

It means to be or put someone in a flat or horizontal position so that he/she is not standing or sitting, or means to say or write sth. that he/she knows is not true.

Lie有兩個常用的意思，某人平躺;或是編造說話人自己知道的謊言，也就是說謊。(過去式是lay，過去分詞是lain)
 

Sometimes, he likes lying on the grass to think some things and problems.

有時，他喜歡躺在草地上思考一些事情和問題。
