實戰(zhàn)口語情景對話：TV Life 電視

Todd: OK, Mark, I thought we would talk about television. The theme this week will be TV.

托德：馬克，我們來談談電視吧。本周的主題是電視。

Mark: OK.

馬克：好。

Todd: First of all, how much television do you watch a day?

托德：第一個問題，你每天看多長時間的電視?

Mark: Per day? In Japan?

馬克：一天嗎?在日本嗎?

Todd: Yeah.

托德：對。

Mark: Not so much because my Japanese is not so good so recently I've been watching TV via the internet on a PC.

馬克：我看的不多，因為我的日語不是太好，所以最近我是在電腦上連網(wǎng)看電視的。

Todd: Oh, really.

托德：哦，真的嗎?

Mark: Yeah, but if I for example have SKY TV, satellite TV maybe five or six hours per day.

馬克：對，不過如果有天空電視或衛(wèi)星電視的，我每天看電視的時間大概有五六個小時。

Todd: Whoa!

托德：哇!

Mark: Yeah, especially news. I love watching news programs.

馬克：對，我大部分時間會看新聞。我喜歡看新聞節(jié)目。

Todd: OK, so you watch five to six hours of television.

托德：你每天看五六個小時的電視。

Mark: If I am free. On a Saturday. One the weekends.

馬克：如果我有時間的話。周六、周末的時候是這樣的。

Todd: A weekend type thing. And the thing you enjoy watching most is news?

托德：周末。你最喜歡看的是新聞節(jié)目?

Mark: I like news programs also sports. Yeah.

馬克：我喜歡看新聞節(jié)目和體育節(jié)目。對。

Todd: Sports! What kinds of sports?

托德：體育節(jié)目!你喜歡看哪種體育節(jié)目?

Mark: Any sports really, I watch on TV. Yeah, football, basketball, baseball, American football.

馬克：我會在電視上看各種體育節(jié)目。足球、籃球、棒球、橄欖球等等。

Todd: Right. Here's a question, so you think it's better to watch sport on TV or to watch it live?

托德：好。有個問題，你認為在電視上觀看體育比賽更好還是在現(xiàn)場看更好?

Mark: Oh, definitely live.

馬克：哦，絕對是在現(xiàn)場看更好。

Todd: Oh, you think so.

托德：哦，你是這么認為的。

Mark: Yeah, but it's pretty expensive to watch live.

馬克：對，不過去現(xiàn)場看比賽很貴。

Todd: Right.

托德：對。

Mark: Definitely live.

馬克：不過絕對是現(xiàn)場看更好。

Todd: I don't know. I'm kind of the other way. Like, except for baseball, cause I'm a huge baseball fan, but every other sport in America, basketball and American football, I think it's better to watch on TV.

托德：我不同意。我的想法和你正相反。不過棒球除外，我是超級棒球迷，不過像一些美國其他的比賽，籃球和橄欖球之類的，我覺得在電視上看更好。

Mark: Actually, I prefer both. So I go to the game and watch it live and then afterwards I can watch the replay on TV to look at the main place of the game. Obviously when you are watching it on TV you are a lot closer to the action.

馬克：我覺得兩種都不錯。我會去現(xiàn)場看比賽，之后我還會在電視上看比賽回放，主要看比賽中的精彩片段。顯然在電視上看比賽時，會更激動。

Todd: Right. Well, you have the thrill of the crowd and all of that, but especially like American football, there's so many close plays and this and that, plus American football is terrible to watch live because during the commercial breaks there is just nothing going on. You know? So you are better off being home and watching a commercial I think.

托德：對?？梢愿惺艿饺藗兊呐d奮，尤其是美式橄欖球，比分經(jīng)常會很接近，另外，去現(xiàn)場看美式橄欖球比賽不太好的原因是，比賽中間會有放廣告的時間，那時沒什么事干。所以我認為還是在家里看廣告更好一些。

Mark: Right. Yeah, and you can go for a beer or maybe a cup of tea at commercial. Actually, a few.. about a year ago I recently got contact lens because my eyes weren't so good, but when I was going to the football stadium, I couldn't see. You were so far away. But I didn't realize that my eyes were so bad. I thought they were just very far away until I got contact lens, and then suddenly I could see all the game. So that was a big improvement.

馬克：對。你可以在播放廣告時去拿啤酒或咖啡喝。我大概一年前開始戴隱形眼鏡，因為我的視力不是太好，我去足球場的時候看不清楚。因為座位太遠了。不過當時我并沒有意識到我的視力有問題。我以為是因為坐的位置太遠了的原因，直到我戴隱形眼鏡以后，我才能看清比賽情況。所以隱形眼鏡幫了我很大忙。
