　　【簡介】陜西歷史博物館是按照宮殿庭院式布局建造的高臺及群體組合建筑南北中軸線上的主建筑為四阿頂重檐建筑，東西為“呂”字形建筑，四角各有崇樓一座。陜西歷史博物館的館藏文物達37.5萬件，上至遠古時期，下到1840年以前，時間跨度長達100萬年。 按照材質可以分為青銅器、金銀器、玉器、陶瓷、唐墓的壁畫等。博物館的常規(guī)展覽按照中國古代史的時間布展，分別在第一、二、三展廳，以周、秦、漢、唐四個朝代為重點，展示陜西歷史。第四、五展廳和東展廳，還設有專題展覽。第一展廳主要包括“人猿揖別”、“鳳鳴岐山”、“東方帝國”為展示內容。展示遠古至秦朝的文物。第二展廳包括“大漢雄風”與“沖突融合”兩個部分，陳列了漢朝至南北朝期間的文物。第三展廳包括“盛唐氣象”與“告別帝都”兩個部分，陳列了唐朝及唐以后的文物。唐代壁畫珍品館是中國和意大利政府合作建設的中國首座唐代墓葬壁畫專題陳列館。展館面積3800平方米，采用現(xiàn)代化技術，讓壁畫與人完全隔離，避免了多種有害氣體、粉塵及人為行為損傷壁畫。展館展出《客使圖》、章懷太子墓《馬球圖》、《儀仗出行圖》、章懷太子墓《狩獵出行圖》、懿德太子墓《闕樓圖》、永泰公主墓《宮女圖》等97幅珍貴壁畫。
