今天這個文章我很喜歡，因為它提醒了我們時時刻刻的一種狀態(tài)，那就是變化。不管你失敗，成功，不作為或是你認(rèn)為自己沒有任何變化，即使這樣，我們每一個人都會在以某種方式朝一個方向前進(jìn)。

Our life is a movement, a tendency, ceaseless progress toward an unseen goal. We are gaining something, or losing something, every day. Even when our position and our character seem to remain precisely the same, they are changing. For the mere advance of time is a change. It is not the same thing to have a bare field in January and in July. The season makes the difference.
我們的生活是一種運(yùn)動，一種趨勢，是向一個看不見的目標(biāo)穩(wěn)定而不停的進(jìn)步。每一天，我們都會贏得某些東西，或者會失去某些東西。甚至當(dāng)我們的位置和我們的性格看起來跟以前完全相似時，它們事實(shí)上仍然在變化著。僅僅是時間的前進(jìn)就是一種變化。對于一塊荒地來說，在1月和7月是不同的。季節(jié)會制造差異。
The limitations that are childlike in the children are childish in the man. Everything that we do is a step in one direction or another. Even the failure to do something is in itself a deed. It sets us forward or backward. The action of the negative pole of a magnetic needle is just as real as the action of the positive pole. To decline is to accept, the other alternative.
能力上的缺陷對于孩子來說是一種可愛的品質(zhì)，但對于大人來說就是一種幼稚的表現(xiàn)。我們做的每一件事都是朝著一個或另一個方向前進(jìn)一步。甚至“沒有做任何事情”這件事本身也是一種行為。它讓我們前進(jìn)或后退。一磁針陰極的作用和陽極的作用都是一樣真實(shí)的。拒絕也是一種接受，這些都是二中擇一的選擇。
