A non-profit organization conducted a survey which looks at public opinion over single women's pregnancy. Results showed approximately 90 percent of respondents support single women to have a baby out-of-wedlock. But so far, single ladies being pregnant are not encouraged by law in China.

It has recently gained another round of popularity when a documentary on Chinese tea has netted six Emmy awards this June for production achievement in the Southeast U.S.
