For a show that's remained somewhat hesitant tokill off anyone, Westworld?delivered a brutal season2 finale that ended the lives of several characters.

Such is the nature of the HBO series, though, thatdeath isn't necessarily the end of these creation'sjourneys, especially the hosts.

不過這正是美國有線電視公司的風(fēng)格，死亡不一定意味著角色消失，特別是影片中的主人公。

However, there was one death in the finale that co-showrunner Jonathan Nolan has confirmed to be irrevocable - Elsie Hughes (ShannonWoodward) will not be returning in season 3.

第二季結(jié)局中，有一個角色真的要下臺了，導(dǎo)演喬納森·諾蘭已確認(rèn)埃爾西·休斯(珊農(nóng)·沃德華德飾演)不會出現(xiàn)在第三季。

 

Elsie was mercilessly gunned down by Charlotte Hale (Tessa Thompson) when she realised Elsiewas going to prove troublesome in keeping her dodgy Delos dealings to herself.

“Shannon Woodward is a phenomenal actor and lovely person and we had a fantasticexperience working with her and would relish the opportunity to work with her again,” Nolantold Entertainment Weekly.

He continued: “It's a large ensemble cast and sadly we're saying goodbye to some people atthe end of this season. But as always with this show, who remains and who doesn't issomething we're having a lot of fun with. There's going to be a bit of a wait for a third seasonbut we want to surprise and hopefully delight people with the way things progress.”
