大婚前夕，哈里準(zhǔn)岳父闖禍了！或因羞愧不參加女兒婚禮

哈里王子大婚在即，全世界都對(duì)這場(chǎng)王室婚禮拭目以待。但婚禮前夕，準(zhǔn)王妃梅根•馬克爾的父親托馬斯•馬克爾卻成為媒體的焦點(diǎn)。5月14日，有媒體爆料稱，托馬斯決定不參加女兒的婚禮。

Thomas Markle told celebrity news website TMZ, at his home in Mexico, that he had decided not to attend his daughter's wedding to Prince Harry.

托馬斯在墨西哥家中接受娛樂(lè)新聞網(wǎng)站TMZ采訪時(shí)表示，他決定不參加女兒與哈里王子的婚禮。

He is reported to have said that he did not want to cause his daughter embarrassment by attending the wedding.

據(jù)報(bào)道，他表示，不希望因?yàn)樽约旱某鱿屌畠簩擂巍?/p>

肯辛頓宮方面沒(méi)有確認(rèn)梅根父親缺席婚禮的消息，但發(fā)表聲明請(qǐng)求公眾理解。一位發(fā)言人稱：

"This is a deeply personal moment for Ms Markle in the days before her wedding. She and Prince Harry ask again for understanding and respect to be extended to Mr Markle in this difficult situation."

“婚禮前的數(shù)日對(duì)梅根小姐來(lái)說(shuō)是極為重要的私人時(shí)光，她與哈里王子再次請(qǐng)求外界能在此艱難時(shí)刻給予她父親更多理解與尊重。”

此前，英國(guó)《每日郵報(bào)》爆出一樁托馬斯•馬克爾的丑聞。該報(bào)道稱，托馬斯與狗仔隊(duì)攝影師秘密合作，拍攝婚禮準(zhǔn)備相關(guān)照片，再將這些照片高價(jià)賣給各大媒體。

《每日郵報(bào)》稱，網(wǎng)吧照片只是一部分，攝影師和馬克爾至少刻意制造了4組照片。其余的擺拍照還包括測(cè)量婚禮西裝尺碼、在咖啡店瀏覽英國(guó)旅游圖書、健身減肥等。

 

 

托馬斯對(duì)TMZ網(wǎng)站表示，照片中的他看起來(lái)“愚蠢又做作(stupid and hammy)”，他感到很后悔。

梅根同父異母的姐姐薩曼莎稱自己才是“罪魁禍?zhǔn)?rdquo;，她原本只是想幫助父親塑造積極形象。

She tweeted: "The media was unfairly making him look bad so I suggested he do positive photos for his benefit and the benefit of the royal family.

薩曼莎在推特上寫道：“媒體不公平地丑化他，所以我建議他為了自己和王室拍一些積極的照片。”

"We had no idea he would be taken advantage of. It was not for money."

Those mooted to take over his role include Meghan's mother, Doria Ragland, Prince Charles and Prince William.

外界猜測(cè)頂替托馬斯的人選包括梅根的媽媽多利亞•拉格蘭，查爾斯王儲(chǔ)以及威廉王子。

Prince Charles, Meghan's future father-in-law, may be the most obvious choice to replace her father. But Prince William has spent more time with the bride and therefore may fit the bill, adding to his job as Prince Harry's best man.

作為梅根的準(zhǔn)公公，查爾斯王儲(chǔ)可能是代替她父親的不二人選。但威廉王子和梅根相處更多，因此可能更符合要求，而他還是哈里王子的伴郎。

But Ragland is perhaps most likely to take on the task, given her particularly close relationship with her daughter.

不過(guò)，考慮到拉格蘭與女兒的親密關(guān)系，她或許才是最可能的人選。

The wedding will take place on 19 May at 12:00 BST at St George's Chapel in Windsor.
