“mean”邪惡的，壞的，小氣的

“stingy”吝嗇的，小氣的

She is nice but I don’t like her.

她很好但是我不喜歡她。

He is not kind but mean.

他的心腸不好而是卑鄙。

“fond”喜歡的

Peter and I are fond of music.

Peter as well as I is fond of music.

彼得和我喜歡音樂。

“as well as”以及

“rather than”而不是

Peter rather than I is fond of music.

彼得喜歡音樂而我不喜歡。

He is ugly，not handsome.

他很丑，而不是帥。
