China is moving to incubate its fifth batch of "little giant" firms to provide stronger support for the real economy. The country will strive to ensure the number of the "little giant" firms exceeds 10,000 by the end of 2023, according to a notice released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

作為中小企業(yè)中的佼佼者，“小巨人”企業(yè)評選要經(jīng)過3項分類指標(biāo)、6項必備指標(biāo)等評價要求，包括專業(yè)化程度、創(chuàng)新能力、經(jīng)濟(jì)效益、經(jīng)營管理以及聚焦制造強(qiáng)國網(wǎng)絡(luò)強(qiáng)國等方面。“小巨人”企業(yè)是具有三類“專家”特征的企業(yè)。一是深刻理解用戶需求的行業(yè)“專家”，以高質(zhì)量滿足用戶需求為目標(biāo)，在細(xì)分領(lǐng)域深耕細(xì)作，有1/5的“小巨人”企業(yè)國內(nèi)市場占有率超過50%。二是掌握關(guān)鍵核心技術(shù)的配套“專家”，上天、入海、探月、高鐵等大國工程中，都能找到“小巨人”企業(yè)的產(chǎn)品，大多數(shù)企業(yè)都在為龍頭骨干企業(yè)配套。三是應(yīng)用新技術(shù)、新工藝、新材料、新模式，不斷迭代產(chǎn)品和服務(wù)的創(chuàng)新“專家”。
近年來，我國大力推進(jìn)中小企業(yè)特別是專精特新“小巨人”企業(yè)培育，從中央到地方，全局部署、靶向發(fā)力，作出一系列重要舉措。工信部此前數(shù)據(jù)顯示，目前我國已培育8997家專精特新“小巨人”企業(yè)、848家制造業(yè)單項冠軍企業(yè)。

In pursuing economic growth, we must continue to focus on the real economy. We will advance new industrialization and move faster to boost China’s strength in manufacturing, product quality, aerospace, transportation, cyberspace, and digital development. We will carry out industrial foundation reengineering projects and research projects on major technologies and equipment; support enterprises that use special and sophisticated technologies to produce novel and unique products; and move the manufacturing sector toward higher-end, smarter, and greener production.
