當(dāng)?shù)貢r(shí)間2023年1月11日，非洲疾控中心總部項(xiàng)目竣工儀式在埃塞俄比亞首都亞的斯亞貝巴南郊舉行。中國外交部長秦剛出席儀式時(shí)表示，相信在中非雙方共同努力下，非洲疾控中心必將為非洲衛(wèi)生事業(yè)和人民健康福祉作出更大貢獻(xiàn)。
With the joint efforts of China and Africa, the Africa Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (Africa CDC) will make greater contributions to the health and well-being of the African people and write a new chapter in the history of China-Africa relations, Chinese Foreign Minister Qin Gang said on Wednesday. Qin made the comments during a ceremony that marked the completion of the Africa CDC headquarters project in the southern suburb of the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa.

非洲疾控中心總部一期項(xiàng)目總建筑面積近2.36萬平方米，包括2棟辦公樓主樓、2棟實(shí)驗(yàn)樓，分別設(shè)置辦公行政區(qū)、應(yīng)急響應(yīng)中心、信息中心、生物實(shí)驗(yàn)室及專家公寓等。項(xiàng)目建成后，將成為非洲大陸第一所擁有現(xiàn)代化辦公和實(shí)驗(yàn)條件、設(shè)施完善的疾控中心，進(jìn)一步提升非洲疾病預(yù)防、監(jiān)測(cè)和疫情應(yīng)急反應(yīng)速度，增強(qiáng)非洲公共衛(wèi)生防控能力，切實(shí)造福非洲人民。

Why do China and Africa have such a close relationship and so deep a bond of friendship? The key lies in an everlasting spirit of China-Africa friendship and cooperation forged between the two sides, which features sincere friendship and equality, win-win for mutual benefit and common development, fairness and justice, and progress with the times and openness and inclusiveness. This truly captures the relations of China and Africa working together in good and hard times over the past decades, and provides a source of strength for the continuous growth of China-Africa friendly relations.
