2022年世界城市日全球主場(chǎng)活動(dòng)暨第二屆城市可持續(xù)發(fā)展全球大會(huì)日前在上海開幕。本屆世界城市日主題為“行動(dòng)，從地方走向全球”，由住房和城鄉(xiāng)建設(shè)部、上海市人民政府、聯(lián)合國(guó)人居署共同舉辦。
Themed "Act Local to Go Global," the Global Observance of World Cities Day 2022 and the Second Sustainable Development Goals Cities Global Conference were co-hosted by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, the Shanghai municipal government and the United Nations Human Settlements Programme, with an opening ceremony held in Shanghai on Oct 31.

世界城市日是聯(lián)合國(guó)首個(gè)以城市為主題的國(guó)際日，也是中國(guó)政府在聯(lián)合國(guó)推動(dòng)設(shè)立的首個(gè)國(guó)際日。2010年，中國(guó)在上海世博會(huì)上提出設(shè)立世界城市日的倡議。2013年，第68屆聯(lián)合國(guó)大會(huì)通過決議，決定自2014年起將每年的10月31日設(shè)為“世界城市日”。2014年，全球首個(gè)“世界城市日”活動(dòng)全球啟動(dòng)儀式將在上海舉行。今年，世界城市日全球主場(chǎng)活動(dòng)在時(shí)隔8年后重回發(fā)源地上海。
10月31日，2022年世界城市日全球主場(chǎng)活動(dòng)暨第二屆城市可持續(xù)發(fā)展全球大會(huì)日前在上海開幕。開幕式現(xiàn)場(chǎng)推介了全球可持續(xù)發(fā)展城市獎(jiǎng)（上海獎(jiǎng)）和“上海指數(shù)”。據(jù)悉，為更好推動(dòng)落實(shí)聯(lián)合國(guó)2030年可持續(xù)發(fā)展議程，聯(lián)合國(guó)人居署、住房和城鄉(xiāng)建設(shè)部、上海市人民政府共同設(shè)立了全球可持續(xù)發(fā)展城市獎(jiǎng)（上海獎(jiǎng)），旨在表彰在可持續(xù)發(fā)展領(lǐng)域取得突出進(jìn)展的優(yōu)秀城市，2023年將頒發(fā)首屆獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)。“上海指數(shù)”旨在衡量全球城市可持續(xù)發(fā)展的進(jìn)展情況，目前正在參與聯(lián)合國(guó)可持續(xù)發(fā)展目標(biāo)城市旗艦項(xiàng)目的20多個(gè)全球城市開展試點(diǎn)應(yīng)用。
