　　Many people think that they have to accept whatever life throws at them. They'll say, "This is my fate, my destiny. I cannot change it."

　　許多人認(rèn)為人應(yīng)該認(rèn)命接受生活拋給自己的一切。他們會說：”這就是我的命運，是命中注定的。要改變它我無能為力。“

　　Of course not!

　　當(dāng)然不是這樣！

　　You don't have to suffer needlessly. Your destiny depends on you, not on any other external factors.

　　你不必委屈求全。你的命運取決于你自己，而不是其它外在的因素。

　　I know someone who say she just accepts what life gives her because she has done everything she can to improve it.

　　我認(rèn)識的一個人說她只不過是接受生活所給予的一切，因為她已經(jīng)盡全力去改善生活了。

　　Guess what her lifestyle is?

　　大家猜猜她過得是一種怎樣的生活？

　　She wakes up in the morning, goes to work, comes back home, relaxes, chats with people, watches TV, then goes to sleep. Next day, the same routine cycle ensues.

　　她早上醒來，去上班，回家，休息，和別人聊天，看電視，然后上床睡覺。第二天，這種生活重復(fù)循環(huán)著。

　　Huh! Is this what she calls "doing her best?"

　　哈，這就是她所謂的”竭盡全力“？

　　She believes she has tried her best and just accepts it in her heart that this is the life that God has intended for her to live; that her luck can only change if God wills it.

　　她認(rèn)為她已經(jīng)盡了全力，在心里接受了這種想法，即這就是上帝為她安排的生活，只有上帝愿意，她的運氣才會改變。

　　Of course God wants us to be happy and live our life to the fullest, but we have to do our share of exerting the effort to live the life of our dreams.

　　當(dāng)然，上帝希望我們幸福快樂，生活圓滿，但我們也要盡力為過上我們夢想的生活而努力。

　　You reap what you sow.

　　一分耕耘，一分收獲。

　　You just don't sit around and wait for a million dollars to fall from the sky. You have to get off the couch, get your eyes off he TV screen, get your hands off the phone (unless it contributes to your success), and get your mind and body to work!

　　你不能坐著不動，巴望著天上會掉下百萬美元來。你必須從沙發(fā)起身，把眼睛從電視屏幕移開，放下手中的電話——除非它有助于你獲得成功，然后全身心投入工作中！

　　If your life is not meant the way you want it to be, don't just say: "Our time will come." or "Things will get better some day."

　　如果你的生活并不稱心如意，不要只說：”我們的實際回來的。“或”總有一天情況會好轉(zhuǎn)的。“

　　Don't expect your luck to change, unless you do something about it. If something goes wrong, don't just regard it as a temporary setback; bu use it as feedback. Learn your lesson, make the most of the situation, and do something to resolve the problem.

　　別指望運氣會改變，除非你對其有所行動。如果出現(xiàn)問題，不要僅僅將其視為暫時的挫敗，而是把它當(dāng)成是一種反應(yīng)。吸取教訓(xùn)，充分利用當(dāng)時的情況，并采取行動解決問題。

　　It's not enough to think positive; you also have to act positive.

　　積極地思考是不夠的，你還需要積極地行動。

　　If someone's life is in trouble, do you just hope and pray that things will turn out fine? Of course not! You got to do anything you can to save the person.

　　如果某個人的生活陷入麻煩，你只是希望和祈禱事情好轉(zhuǎn)起來嗎？當(dāng)然不是。你應(yīng)該盡你所能的去解救這個人。

　　So it is with your own life. It is not enough to hope for the best, but you have to DO your best. In other words, don't just sand (or sit) there, do something to improve your life!

　　對于自己的生活也是這樣。僅僅抱有樂觀的態(tài)度是不夠的，而是要盡力做到最好。換句話說，不要只是站（坐）在那兒，要行動起來改善你的生活！
