蘇格蘭酒店為迎中國游客出奇招：員工學(xué)普通話 提供熱水（雙語）

春節(jié)出國游成為過年新時(shí)尚，也成為各國旅游行業(yè)緊盯的一塊“香餑餑”。為了吸引到更多的中國游客，蘇格蘭敦促酒店員工學(xué)普通話，提供熱水;意大利出租車開通支付寶付費(fèi);泰國機(jī)場設(shè)中國游客專用通道……全球共迎“中國年”。

Hoteliers in the Scottish Highlands are being urged to learn Mandarin and provide chopsticks to capitalize on growing numbers of Chinese tourists.

有關(guān)部門敦促蘇格蘭高地的酒店經(jīng)營者學(xué)習(xí)普通話，并提供筷子，以期從越來越多的中國游客身上獲得更多收益。

The Highlands are becoming increasingly fashionable among China’s burgeoning middle classes and super-rich and the Highland and Islands Enterprise development agency is organizing China Ready workshops to help restaurateurs and businesses to cater for them.

Monica Lee-Macpherson, chairwoman of the Scottish Highlands and Islands and Moray Chinese Association, said B&B owners should provide Pot Noodles and disposable chopsticks in rooms and urged restaurants to create picture menus.

B&B：Bed and breakfast，簡稱B&B，是一種酒店、旅店的類型，和民宿相似。

Ms Lee-Macpherson, a Chinese-Scot who leads tours of popular destinations, says the Chinese are often frustrated by poor facilities, having to share bathrooms, and a lack of places to buy designer goods.

李-麥克弗森女士是一位華裔蘇格蘭人，她經(jīng)常會(huì)帶旅游團(tuán)到一些熱門目的地旅行，她說，中國人常常會(huì)因?yàn)樵O(shè)施差、需要共用衛(wèi)生間和缺少購買品牌商品的場所而感到失望。

“A lot of hotels have Polish, Italian, Spanish or even Japanese speakers, but I don’t know any that have Mandarin speakers,” she told The Times. “They don’t even learn simple phrases like ‘how are you?’, ‘good morning’ or ‘thank you’.”

She stressed that Scottish businesses would need to adapt if they were to take advantage of Chinese tourists’ desire to spend money while on holiday.

She told The Times that the Chinese want to buy Scottish souvenirs to commemorate their visit.

However, on examining merchandise in the shops, the Chinese visitors are often disappointed to find the dreaded three words: 'Made in China.'

She said: “We think too much about Europeans, but how often do you see a European visitor go and buy four cashmere jumpers without even batting an eyelid? Chinese people have new found wealth and will spend that money.”

她說：“我們對(duì)歐洲人太重視了，但你有多少次能看到一個(gè)歐洲游客會(huì)一口氣買下4件羊絨套頭針織衫，連眼皮都不抬一下?中國游客越來越富有，也會(huì)消費(fèi)。”

Lee-Macpherson added that shops should stay open later to make the most of visitors’ deep pockets, as they have told her: “Your shops close at 5pm or 6pm, so after we have had our dinner there are no places for us to spend our money.”

More simple things can be instigated by hotels and restaurants, according to Graeme Ambrose, who runs Visit Inverness Loch Ness.

These include ensuring there are twin beds, which are more popular for Chinese guests, and providing lukewarm rather than cold water.

“These are affluent people with a lot of money to spend and the challenge is to recognize what their likes and dislikes are so they get the best possible experience when they are here.”

Scotland attracted 62,000 Chinese visitors in 2017, who spent £44m in total, according to Visit Scotland.

春節(jié)假期出國旅游已經(jīng)成為不少人的選擇，為了吸引中國游客，各國紛紛出奇招。

意大利&韓國首爾：打車可刷支付寶

意大利10余個(gè)旅游城市8000輛出租車開始支持支付寶付費(fèi)。

據(jù)了解，開通支付寶服務(wù)的出租車屬于意大利電召出租車聯(lián)盟，覆蓋城市包括羅馬、米蘭、布雷西亞、熱那亞、佛羅倫薩、比薩等。

電召出租車聯(lián)盟主席比塔雷利表示，此舉將為公司出租車司機(jī)帶來更多生意。同時(shí)，支付寶付費(fèi)方式會(huì)讓赴意旅游的中國游客更加滿意。

在2018年10月，首爾市政府表示，自2019年1月起首爾市7萬余輛出租車將支持二維碼支付，為此已制定相關(guān)標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。

Alipay, the world's largest online and mobile payment platform operated by Ant Financial Services Group, can be used by Chinese tourists to pay for taxis in Seoul via strategic partner kakaopay, which acts as system integrator. In the near future, local users will also be able to pay taxi fare via kakaopay.

Earlier, Alipay enabled its payment service for taxis in the Pyeongchang and Gangneung areas, where the Winter Olympics were hosted in February.

泰國：落地簽免費(fèi)措施延期

泰國免落地簽證費(fèi)措施延長至今年4月30日。如果這一政策順利實(shí)施，對(duì)春節(jié)假期出游的旅客有利。

該政策免收落地簽證費(fèi)用2000泰銖，按照近期人民幣匯率折算，在泰國辦理落地簽，每人每次可節(jié)省近420元。

Thailand's Royal Gazette has announced to extend the waiver on visa-on-arrival fee for nationals of particular countries until the end of April to boost tourism.

《泰國皇家公報(bào)》宣布，為促進(jìn)旅游業(yè)發(fā)展，對(duì)一些國家的游客免除落地簽證費(fèi)的政策將延長到4月底。

The waiver on the 2,000-baht visa-on-arrival fee for nationals for 20 counties, including China, was set end on January 13. It started on last November.

這項(xiàng)免除落地簽證費(fèi)的政策從去年11月開始實(shí)施，原本至2019年1月13日為止，對(duì)包括中國在內(nèi)的20個(gè)國家的外籍旅客免除落地簽證費(fèi)2000銖。

The Thai government expects the extension to benefit foreign tourists, especially tourists from China, and draw them to Thailand during the Chinese New Year in early February and the water splashing festival in the middle of April.

泰國政府希望這一政策的延期能惠及外國游客，特別是來自中國的游客，吸引他們?cè)?月初中國春節(jié)期間和4月中旬泰國潑水節(jié)期間去泰國旅游。

泰國移民局還對(duì)機(jī)場海關(guān)工作做出了調(diào)整，春節(jié)期間將開放16個(gè)旅行證件審核窗口，并設(shè)中國游客專用通道，承諾進(jìn)入落地簽大廳后的等候時(shí)間不超過30分鐘，柜臺(tái)辦理時(shí)間不超過3分鐘。

移民局還專門對(duì)機(jī)場海關(guān)工作人員進(jìn)行了中文培訓(xùn)，機(jī)場內(nèi)的引導(dǎo)標(biāo)識(shí)及公告牌均添加中文注釋。

日本：旅游簽證進(jìn)一步簡化

日本旅游簽證將于2019年1月4日起進(jìn)一步簡化，預(yù)計(jì)中國游客春節(jié)期間赴日賞雪、泡溫泉、賞早櫻將再度迎來小高峰。
