職場(chǎng)英語(yǔ)日記 第50篇：討厭的女房東

i can't believe what i did. i forgot to pay my rent this month, i got a call from my landlady this morning and she was furious, i usually give her about 6 month's worth of postdated checks and she deposits them on the 1st of the month, but i guess she ran out i forget to give her more. i feel like such an idiot.

我不敢相信自己會(huì)那么豬頭，居然忘了繳這個(gè)月的房租。今天早上接到女房東氣呼呼打來(lái)的電話。我通常給她6個(gè)月的遠(yuǎn)期支票，她則會(huì)在每個(gè)月第一天把支票存進(jìn)去，但我想她應(yīng)該是錢(qián)用完了，而我又忘了把錢(qián)給她，真是夠糊涂的。

she was yelling at me on the phone, telling me how irresponsible i am. but i have never enen been late with the rent before and i have lived in that place for over a year now. i promised to pay her tonight as soon as i am finished work, but it didn't seem to make her happy. i don't know what else i can do. it's not like i am skipping out on my rent.

她在電話里對(duì)我吼來(lái)吼去，說(shuō)我怎么那么不負(fù)責(zé)任。再怎么說(shuō)，我以前都沒(méi)有遲交過(guò)房租，而且也住了一年多了。我答應(yīng)今晚一下班就把房租給她，可是這好像沒(méi)令她高興。不然要我怎么辦?我又不是故意不交房租的，就是不小心忘了嘛!
