(NAIROBI, Reuters)Deaths of flamingos have revived fears that pollution is menacing the future of the majestic pink birds.

Hundreds of dead flamingos were found on the shores of two lakes in western Kenya.

肯尼亞西部的兩座湖岸發(fā)現(xiàn)了數(shù)百只已經(jīng)死亡的紅鶴。

Researchers said the exact cause of their deaths remains a mystery, but several toxins have been identified inthe bodies of the birds.

研究人員表示，造成這些紅鶴死亡的原因仍不得而知，不過(guò)他們?cè)谶@些鳥的體內(nèi)檢測(cè)出好幾種有毒物質(zhì)。
