(LONDON, Reuters)Thieves who steal mobile phones may soon find them unusable.

(路透社倫敦電)偷手機(jī)的竊賊可能在不久之后就會(huì)發(fā)現(xiàn)，那些偷來的手機(jī)根本不能用。

Police plan on bombarding the phones with text messages.

警方計(jì)劃要傳送一大堆文字訊息來轟炸這些手機(jī)。

The message says, "The phone you are using has been stolen; return it to the police."

訊息的內(nèi)容是：“你現(xiàn)在使用的手機(jī)是贓貨;請將手機(jī)繳回警局。”

Mobile phones accounted for 35 percent of the 50,000 thefts of personal property last year.

在去年的五萬件個(gè)人財(cái)物失竊案當(dāng)中，手機(jī)失竊就占了35%。
