(BBC; News) A new study suggests dolphins are more intelligent than we thought and a great deal more vain.

(英國國家廣播公司報(bào)道)一份新的研究顯示，海豚比我們想的更聰明，而且也更愛虛榮。

When given the chance，dolphins would look in a mirror and gaze at markings drawn onto their bodies.

若給予機(jī)會(huì)，海豚便會(huì)照鏡子，凝視著畫在它們身上的記號(hào)。

Scientists say this behavior is thought to signify self-recognition and this is the first time a non-primate has shown it.

科學(xué)家表示，他們認(rèn)為海豚這種行為代表自我辨認(rèn)的能力，而且這是非靈長類動(dòng)物首次表現(xiàn)出這種能力。
