大學(xué)英語作文:職業(yè)選擇 Career Option

The first job is of great importance for a person, because it frequently decides one’s future career. Most parents want their children to work for the government, while the young people trend to start business on their own. Both options have advantages and disadvantages.
第一份工作對每一個(gè)人來說都是非常重要的，因?yàn)樗３Q定了一個(gè)人未來的職業(yè)。大多數(shù)父母都希望他們的孩子在政府工作，而年輕人則趨向于自主創(chuàng)業(yè)。這兩種選擇都有優(yōu)點(diǎn)和缺點(diǎn)。

Working for the government seems to be permanent and stable. So many graduates choose to take part in the national exam, for the purpose of being a public servant. But it is the stability that makes the young people feel bored and like wasting their time on the repeating work. 
為政府工作似乎是穩(wěn)定的。所以很多畢業(yè)生為了成為一名公務(wù)員選擇參加國家考試。但正是由于它的穩(wěn)定性，讓年輕人感覺到無聊和浪費(fèi)時(shí)間在做重復(fù)的工作。

As the government advocates the young generation to self-employed, many graduates join the team. They want to develop their talent and follow their hearts.  And it takes a long time for them to get great return. When they see their fellows buy house and cars, they will be easy to feel frustrated. Starting business is not always a simple thing.
因?yàn)檎岢贻p一代自主創(chuàng)業(yè)，許多畢業(yè)生加入了這個(gè)隊(duì)伍。他們想發(fā)展自己的天賦、跟隨自己的心也需要很長時(shí)間去獲得巨大的回報(bào)。當(dāng)他們看到自己的同伴買房子和汽車時(shí)，他們就會(huì)很容易感到沮喪。創(chuàng)業(yè)并不總是簡單的事。

In my opinion, the career we choose must be passionate. We need to do it for more than 30 years, so the interest comes first, or we will be like a walking dead. 
在我看來，我們選擇的職業(yè)一定是充滿激情的。我們需要做30多年，所以興趣是第一位，否則我們會(huì)像一個(gè)行尸走肉一般。
