　　Life gets noisier every day and very few people can be free from noise:of some sort or another.It doesn't matter where you live in the middle of a modern city, or a faraway village the chances are that you'll be disturbed by jet airplanes, transistor radios, oil-powered engines, etc.We seem to be getting used to noise, too.

　　生活日益嘈雜，幾乎沒有人能夠擺脫各種各樣的噪音。不論你住在哪里——發(fā)達(dá)城市的中心，還是遙遠(yuǎn)的小村莊——都會(huì)受到噴氣飛機(jī)、晶體管收音機(jī)和汽油發(fā)動(dòng)機(jī)的干擾。而我們也似乎越來(lái)越對(duì)這些噪音感到無(wú)所謂了。
